St. Peter Lutheran After School Help (SPLASH)

Our St. Peter Lutheran After School Help (SPLASH) program provides parents a place for their St. Peter K-8 students to be cared for in a safe and convenient location after school.

Purpose

Our purpose as a part of the total ministry of St. Peter Lutheran Church and School is to serve families of the church, school, and community who desire Christ-centered care for their children.

St. Peter Lutheran After School Help provides parents a place for their St. Peter K-8 students to be cared for in a safe and convenient location.

Program Highlights
  • Students will be able to do homework.

  • Students will be able to play games.

  • There will be special activities planned on different days.

  • Snacks will be provided at a cost, or these may be brought from home.

Requirements

If you plan to use our Child Care, Before School Care (BSC) or SPLASH (St. Peter Lutheran After School Help) programs, you will need to indicate which days you will use them. You will be charged for days that your child(ren) is signed up unless at least 24-hour notice is given. 

Time

SPLASH is available from 2:40 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on all full-days of school. On half-days, SPLASH will be provided from 11:05 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. in the afternoon.

Cost

All children will be charged $5.50/hour per child.  Lunch will not be provided on half-days. Children will need to bring a lunch from home.

 

Note: All children must be picked-up by 5:30. The cost for care after 5:30 is $5 for every 15 minutes.

When school is not in session during the school year, child care may be offered for our students in PS-8th grade from 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Please consult the Panther Press for days that it will be opened. The cost is $5.50/hour per child.

Location

SPLASH will take place in the cafeteria, but the gym, outdoor playground, and cafeteria may be utilized.

Notes
  • Childcare tax statements will be provided upon request in January.

  • Discipline problems will be handled according to school policies.
