Our Philosophy
We want our school to have a staff who are God fearing and dedicated to teaching children God’s rules and God’s love. This will help our children love themselves and be positive, confident children in mind and spirit. We want our school to provide an atmosphere where children have the opportunity to grow spiritually, have a safe environment, and have loving and caring relationships with fellow students and other adults. Our school will teach (1) what our Lutheran forefathers thought was important, (2) a strong and challenging academic curriculum in a loving, age-appropriate way to each individual which God sends us unless major physical, emotional, or intellectual handicaps prevent it, and (3) the students to talk about their love for God and his will. Our school will be a major force in the growth of our church in years to come. Our school will help parents make strong families by teaching the children the benefits of family living, by providing a setting for these Christian families to dialogue, and by supporting strong bonds among the children we teach and their grandparents and other adults. We will support the Hemlock area by developing a community of maturing adults who are spiritually and morally strong. Our school will continue to be a source for future full-time church workers.
